Jason tries to beat a local bench-pressing record held by Bulk. Rita sends King Sphinx to take advantage of Jason's doubt, separating him from the others. Facing a giant Goldar & King Sphinx alone in a hidden location, Jason holds out hope the other Rangers can find him.

Trivia for this Episode
Retro-introduction of the Power Crystals, first appearance of Billy's lab, first mention of the Morphin Grid.
Although heavily marketed in Power Rangers merchandise at the time, this was the only episode for King Sphinx.
First episode with the new teleportation sound effect that would be used through the end of season 04 (Zeo).
Footage mostly adapted from Zyuranger episode 05 and episode 06 for the battles against King Sphinx.
King Sphinx was voiced by Richard Cansino, and his original concept art is shown below:

During the Megazord battle, several short clips are used from future Zyuranger episodes, one of which accidentally includes an above-view shot of the Rangers in the Megazord cockpit but shows the Dragonzord symbol, who wouldn't debut in Power Rangers for another 13 episodes.
King Sphinx was in the original pilot version of Power Rangers and was called "Fly Guy", with just the Zord battle footage being used.
