Trivia for this Episode
Dragon Ranger (Green Ranger's Sentai counterpart) had limited footage in Japan, so this episode was the first of many where Tommy "was late for something" which gave an excuse for him not to be in morphed fight footage that was filmed without Dragon Ranger (in Japan, his powers could only be used in moderation before his life energy burned out). In this case, he was late due to "karate practice".
There was no American footage of Shellshock, likely indicating the original costume wasn't in good enough condition from Japan.
"What till those teenage mutants see what a full grown turtle can do."
When Tommy teleports in, a brief distance shot remains with unmorphed Burai (Dragon Ranger) before the camera cuts to a zoomed-in shot of him morphed.
Footage mostly adapted from Zyuranger episode 24.
