With the Cyclops still tearing through Angel Grove and Zedd’s new Dark Rangers rising to replace the heroes, Tommy faces the truth his future self warned him about — his Green Ranger powers are nearly gone. As the team battles to stop Zedd’s twisted recruits, Tommy makes one last push to fight beside his friends, knowing this mission may be the final time he ever morphs.

Trivia for this Episode
Footage mostly adapted from Zyu2 (31:53) filmed in Japan exclusively for the American version of Power Rangers regarding Turban Shell vs. original Megazord (he was only filmed in giant form, so no Putty battle). Thunder Megazord footage was spliced together from various episodes of Dairanger.
JDF left Power Rangers at this time to star in the syndicated show "Cybertron". Due to popular demand, JDF would instead return to Power Rangers shortly. The role that he would have had in Cybertron (later renamed to "VR Troopers" went to Brad Hawkins, who would later voice the voice of Trey the Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo.
The Dark Rangers would later be re-imagined by BOOM! comics in 2021.
