The universe trembles as Dark Specter assembles the United Alliance of Evil — Rita, Zedd, Divatox, the Machine Empire — to celebrate the conquest of Eltar and Zordon’s capture. But a cloaked figure infiltrates the gathering: a mysterious Red Ranger who escapes on a Galaxy Glider, pursued by Astronema, the newly crowned Princess of Evil.

Trivia for this Episode
Footage mostly adapted from Megaranger episode 01 and episode 02 for the Astro Megaship footage and the Sphinx ship.
The Cimmarrian planet footage is a reuse of Rita's planetoid from "Day of the Dumpster".
The final time we see many of these costumes on screen including Master Vile. The first appearance of the Z-Putties since season 2, and the Tengas since season 4. Although Goldar is present, Rito Revolto is not due to his suit being in such bad condition at the time. Dark Specter's suit is a re-use of the Maligore suit from Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie just one year prior.
One-Time Opening
This was the only time the opening credits featured Bulk & Professor Phenomenus this way, and with Divatox..
